A traditional surfing contest and gathering in Western Australia
The South West Log Fest is a traditional surfing competition held in Western Australia. This invitational competition showcases a curated selection of longboarders at an annually changing location round WA.
The SWLF is inspired by the side of surf contests that brings everybody together, the large amount of fun that gets brought out through this human connection - all under the loose banner of a ‘surfing competition’.
The Vision
The SWLF brings together the extended longboarding community to WA, celebrating the unique logging culture Western Australia has to offer.
The SWLF set a high standard of equality in the surf contest world, not just with equal prize money and entries but with our own back-to-back men’s and women’s heats, giving everybody a chance to surf in the best conditions!
