South West Log Fest
An annual traditional surfing contest + festival in Western Australia
The South West Log Fest is a traditional surfing ‘comp’ held in Western Australia.
The SWLF is inspired by the side of surf contests that brings everybody together and the large amount of fun that gets brought out through social connection - all under the loose banner of a ‘surfing competition’.
The SWLF brings together the extended longboarding community to WA, celebrating the unique logging culture Western Australia has to offer.
The SWLF sets a high standard of equality in the surf contest world, not just with equal prize money and entries but with our own back-to-back men’s and women’s heats, giving everybody a chance to surf in the best conditions!
